Farm Manager

You will have a background in Livestock Management and proven experience in leading a team in a customer facing environment. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who puts animal welfare as the highest priority and is able to continually review exhibits with customer satisfaction in mind. You will be responsible for a team of approximately 6 in the farm, and be keen to promote an inclusive and collaborative environment. You will have innovative ideas yourself and suggestions as to how to improve the experience for our visitors and increase interaction at touch points throughout their day. Health and Safety is of upmost importance and therefore it’s essential you have a good understanding of preventing zoonotic diseases by way of good hygiene practices. 

You will be responsible for over 500 animals and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  The role will involve working full time, 5 days of 7 including weekends and bank holidays

Office and Marketing Assistant - Part Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our small office and administration team. You will be responsible for managing your own time and ensuring that radios and tills are distributed across the farm each morning.  You will handle telephone and email enquiries into the farm, and take bookings for groups such as schools and parties. At the end of each day you will cash up all tills on site and report any discrepancies plus you'll respond to till queries and give troubleshooting advice.

You will also play a large part in interacting with our customers over our social media channels and provide administrative support with general marketing tasks such as updating the website and tracking spending and results.  There is an opportunity to develop marketing skills for a person keen to learn more in this area.

The role is part time, and ideally 3/4 days per week including weekend work.  It's essential you are numerate, accurate and pay great attention to detail. Your communication skills must be excellent with the ability to write creatively with an excellent command of English.

Starting hourly rate for this role will be £8.38, with the addition of other benefits.
