We’re really excited for half term, who can believe it’s only a week away! We thought it would be useful to share a timetable for the week to help you plan your day.
There’s lots to be done at the farm over half term so we need your help to look after our friendly animals! We know there’s lots of fun to be had too! Each child will be given a Farmyard Antics passport/activity list. Once they have completed each job on the list they can get their passport stamped by a member of the team. This means they will be that step closer to becoming a real farmer!
Please find listed some of the great activities children can take part in, over May half term week, at Godstone Farm.
- Get close to our friendly sheep and feed them by hand in Main Barn
- Muck out the donkeys – jump in the field, move the straw and fill the hay racks.
- Grab a net and explore the exciting life in our pond with pond dipping.
- Help to give our smaller animals a mini pamper with animal grooming in our Animal Holding barn.
- Help the team with planting crops
- Collect eggs from the chicken coops.
- Make your way to Pond Walk to meet and feed our ducks on the pond.
- Sit in our tractor and take photos if you wish to.
Plan your day
Godstone Farm is a great day out for the whole family offering wholesome farmyard fun!
Leave time to explore our extensive outdoor play areas, including our huge adventure playground, sandpits, den building, ride-ons and wilding play. Have fun in our large Playbarn (soft play) and visit all of our lovely animals along the farm trail. Meet Dinosaur Roar and friends along the World of Dinosaur Roar Discovery Trail and venture in to our Creature Caves where the reptiles, amphibians and arachnids reside. Make friends with our smaller animals in Animal Holding and explore our Pond Walk with guinea pig walk-through. Before leaving, make sure you pop in to our Gift Shop to grab a souvenir of your visit!
We ask that you pre-book your tickets via the Godstone Farm website. We are running to a limited capacity so book now to avoid disappointment. Remember if you are a Summer Sizzler pass holder there is no need to pre-book and you can visit as many times as you wish from 1st June to 31st August 2022.
Please note that all areas of the farm are open, however there is currently a temporary path leading to the top play area. Please ensure to follow the signs and ask a member of the team if you are unsure – we are all happy to help.
We hope you enjoy your day and make great family memories!
