Welcome back to our A to Z of Godstone Farm, where we’re celebrating all the things that make a visit to our Surrey farm extra special. Today, we’ve reached the letter L and it’s a lovely line-up – full of our favourite farm animals, fascinating reptiles and little extra thoughtful touches for inclusive events.
If you’re planning a family day out in Surrey, let’s have a look and see what L has to offer at Godstone Farm!
L is for Llamas
Our lovely llamas are firm favourites with visitors of all ages. We currently have two llamas living at Godstone Farm – Titus and his son Tibbs. They came to live at Godstone Farm from an animal rescue centre and have the loveliest personalities. With their gentle eyes, soft woolly coats and curious personalities, they’re a joy to watch. You can feed Titus and Tibbs with animal feed purchased in the Gift Shop (or online when booking your tickets) through special fun feeding chutes. You’ll see them along the farm trail, near the animal barn and if you’re lucky and they spot you, they may come over and wait for the food.

L is for Low Bang Fireworks
At Godstone Farm we’re proud to host events that are inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why our popular low bang fireworks event is always such a hit with families. This year our low bang fireworks will be held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2025. These special fireworks create all the sparkle and wonder without the loud bangs – making them perfect for younger children, those with sensory sensitivities and anyone who prefers a gentler experience. It’s a magical evening on the farm with twinkling nights, amazing entertainment, tasty food and drink and a welcoming environment for all.

L is for Lambs
Nothing says springtime quite like the sight of newborn lambs. At Godstone Farm, lambing season is always a highlight of the year. Families love seeing tiny lambs taking their first steps and it’s a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about the farming calendar and how we care for our animals. During February half term and the Easter holidays, lambing talks are held by our experienced livestock team. In the springtime you’ll have the opportunity to see our lovely lambs in the animal barn along the farm trail. During lambing season, you might event catch a glimpse of a live birth in our animal barn – truly a moment to remember!
L is for Leopard Geckos
It’s not all about the fluffy ones! Leopard geckos might be small and scaly, but they’ve got bags of personality. Found in our Reptile House, these fascinating little creatures are always popular with curious young explorers. They’re known for their beautiful spotted skin (just like a leopard) calm nature and those famously wide smiles that you might capture on camera. Pop in and say hello – you’ll also find other fascinating creatures in the Reptile House, such as bearded dragons, snakes, an iguana, plus insects and amphibians! The leopard gecko in the photo below created some art which we sold to raise money for Shooting Star Children’s Hospice at our recent Fun Day.
