We know that everyone’s needs are different and that sometimes children cope better when the space they’re in isn’t too busy. That’s why our fabulous Play Barn is open exclusively for families with children with SEND from 9.30am until 10.30am on the first Saturday of each month. Your SEND Play Barn booking also gives you entry to the farm for the whole day.
Our SEND Play Barn sessions are held regularly, on the first Saturday of each month and on these days the Play Barn will be open to the rest of our visitors at 10.30am.
The lower level of The Play Barn is home to the huge mainframe with seven fun slides and other themed equipment, plus a toddler area and a separate baby area. There is plenty of seating four chairs around each table, and Wiglet’s Cafe, which serves a variety of hot and cold food, and hot and cold drinks. We have an accredited Changing Places Room, please ask a member of the team if you would like to use this. Also in the Changing Places Room is a box of tricks that you are welcome to use if you need to!
The upper level of The Play Barn opened in June 2024 and has a sensory area, as well as role play area with a camping pitch, greengrocers, bakery, vets, Wiglet’s Workshop, stage and dressing table with mirror.
