Hop down to Godstone Farm this Easter holiday and chick out our cracking line up!! We’re bringing you all the joys of spring with a whole load of extras to make you even more hoppy! Running from Good Friday 29th March until Sunday 14th April 2024, read on to see what we’ve got planned!
We’re inviting you to an egg-citing family adventure with the opportunity to meet the cutest baby animals:
- Baby lambs – Our lambs can be found in the animal barn, close to the viewing platform and also in the fields next to the adventure playground and top play area. You can learn more about these gorgeous animals during our lambing talk, held daily in the animal barn at 12pm.
- Baby piglets – Polly, one of our Tamworth pigs, gave birth to a beautiful litter of piglets on Friday 22nd March, look out for them with Polly in the main pig enclosures. You can also see Polly’s sister Penelope and her adorable piglets that are now just five weeks old.
- Baby goat kids – Visit the animal barn to see Boer goat kids, plus you’ll see baby Golden Guernseys and pygmy goat kids in the fields around the farm trail.
- See what other baby animals and birds you can discover around the farm!
Easter Activities
Easter crafts will take place in the Venue between 12.15pm and 1.15pm – Embrace this brilliant opportunity for the kids to get creative and make an Easter garland to take home.
Meet and Greet your favourite characters at the farm over the Easter holidays – you can say hello to Wiglet, the Godstone Farm mascot or wish the Easter bunny a Happy Easter!
You’ll find the egg drop challenge on the stage next to the Animal Interaction Barn from 10am until 10.30am and then again from 2.15pm until 2.45pm – will your nest protect your egg from a falling height?!
Sheep Herding Trail – Along with your welcome leaflet on arrival, the children will be given a copy of this fun trail to complete, look out for the names of the six large wooden sheep around the farm, when completed, hand this in to the Gift Shop to receive a treat!
Slime making is an optional extra – Visit the Venue between 11.30am and 12pm to create your very own Easter slime – card payments can be taken at the slime station at a cost of £2 per slime egg.
Animal Interactions
The Animal Interaction Barn will be open from 10.30am until 4pm – in this undercover area you’ll meet a variety of animals.
Visit the Reptile House for interactions between 10.30am until 12pm and then in the afternoon from 2pm until 3.30pm. (The Reptile House will remain open but will be viewing only between 12pm and 2pm.)
